 | Tuesday, October 12th, 2032: Mariners Hurler Wolf Tames Toronto Nick Wolf of Seattle easily handled the Toronto Blue Jays, stopping them on 6 hits and chucking a complete game 9-0 shutout. "He really did a job on us," said the Toronto manager. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and pretty much confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us." Wolf said, "Everything was working for me. Throwing my breaking stuff over the plate was big." He finished the game with 6 strikeouts and no walks in a solid outing. Currently Wolf has a 18-8 won-lost record in 33 starts with a 2.39 ERA. He also has 254 strikeouts in 252.2 innings. |
